Special language credit exams allow students with non-curriculum languages to challenge for a credit at the Grade 9, 10, 11 and 12 level.
The Winnipeg School Division will be offering the Special Language Credit Examinations on Tuesday, April 10, Wednesday, April 11, Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. ONLY GRADE 9 TO GRADE 12 STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO WRITE THESE EXAMS
Exams take place at the following location/s (If only one school is needed it will be St. John's):
St. John's High School 401 Church Street
Winnipeg Adult Education Centre Isbister Building, 310 Vaughan Street
The application has been created as a fillable pdf so that students may fill out it out electronically and print it off for the student, parent, and school signatures. Please have applicants fill it out electronically.
SPRING 2018 SPECIAL LANGUAGE CREDIT EXAM APPLICATION
- Students are only allowed to apply for one exam per session, and must write the language and level for which they have applied.
- If a student is scheduled for two nights he/she must attend both nights (first night for written and second night for oral). Examiners will provide students an appointment date and time for the oral part of the exam after they have completed the written portion.
The deadline for SPRING applications is Friday, February 9, 2018

PLEASE NOTE THAT WALK-IN REGISTRATIONS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE SCHOOL
The student registration confirmation notifaction packages will be mailed out the week of March 19, 2018.
Students are required to bring the Notification of Special
Language Examination form along with identification (i.e. student photo
identification card or driver’s licence) to the examination.
