The WSD Portal is the staff Intranet site for the Winnipeg School Division. The Portal features important information, documents, forms and other resources for staff and administration.
The Portal is located at https://portal.wsd1.org .
Q: How do I access the forms?
A: Forms, Manuals and Resource Materials are all located under the Staff Resources menu on the main page. All forms, manuals and resources are categorized by topic and then listed in alphabetical order.
Q: What if I notice a form that is out of date, or other information is missing?
A: Departments are each responsible for updating their information on the Portal through an appointed web operator. If you notice a form that is out of date or missing, please notify the related department.
Q: Will there also be school-based Portal sites, similar to our school-based public websites?
A: Yes, each school has its own Portal site. It can be accessed under the Schools menu on the main WSD Portal. Within the school’s Portals there is a team site which features a staff calendar, task lists, shared documents, team discussions and more, all specific to your building.
These school Portals can be edited by the school administrator and/or designates for each building. Note that while schools can access the main WSD Portal and their school Portal, they can’t access other school/building portals.
Q: How do I find a particular resource or document?
A: There is a search function available for WSD Portal-specific search queries. The search field will show up under the menu bar regardless of what page you are on.
Q: What if I have any other questions?
A: If you have any further questions, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org . Please put the subject header PORTAL on your email. Check out the Administrative Bulletin regularly as we will continue to offer tips and answer questions regarding the WSD Portal.
