Inkster School - All students remote learning through May 14

May 5, 2021

Manitoba public health officials continue to investigate the recent confirmed case of COVID-19 that was present in Inkster School on April 19-23, 26-27 and 30, 2021 when the individual may have been infectious. There was potential exposure of multiple cohorts in the school. Inkster School is working closely with public health officials and is following their recommendations.

Inkster School has shifted to remote learning effective May 3 up to and including May 14, 2021, although this date may change as the investigation continues. All close contacts and their households who have already been advised to quarantine (self-isolate) should continue to do so as directed. All other students and staff should stay home other than for essential reasons, not attend extra-curricular activities, and avoid contact with anyone at high risk of severe outcomes. In addition, your child must monitor for symptoms until May 14, 2021 and seek testing if symptoms develop, effective today.
