Players read Whiteout: A Winnipeg Jets Story by Holly Preston and James Hearne, as well as signing lots of autographs and answering some thoughtful student questions.

To qualify for a Jets player visit, students wrote letters listing the top five reasons the team should visit their classroom. Lucky entrants received word of the impending visits on Feb. 1.

Schools will be busy all through February, as guest readers from all walks of life visit to share the joy of reading with students.
