Winter Fun Day

Dear Harrow Families,
We are tired of the many indoor recesses we have had to endure and are going to fight back with WINTER FUN DAY!!! Our Winter Fun Day is scheduled for TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25th.........weather permitting of course! All students from Nursery to Grade 6 will enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Since we will be outdoors for almost half of the day we remind you that your child will need to dress for the outdoors. This includes mitts, hats, scarves, snow pants and boots. Our activities are Olympic themed including a special demonstration from Speed Skating Manitoba on our very own rink. Children in grades 4-6 will have an opportunity to try out the speed skates, courtesy of Speed Skating Manitoba! All children are required to wear a hockey helmet when on the ice rink which will be supplied by the school. If your child has his/her own hockey helmet, they are encouraged to bring it to school on the 25th. Please ensure it is clearly labelled with your child’s name.
As part of our station rotations, children will be treated to pancakes and hot chocolate. Please let the office know if your child has any allergies that we may not be aware of.
