Holiday Shopping
February 8, 2021
This year we will be holding our 7th annual holiday shopping day on Tuesday, December 15th.
We will have our students participate in sharing and caring activities by having them “buy” something for someone they love through their own “gift” shopping for the holidays.
With your support, we are asking our families to bring GENTLY USED items that you no longer want or need in your home. Anything from older games, toys, puzzles, gift items, “junk” jewellery, bath items, novelty gifts, craft items, etc. Please DO NOT purchase anything to send to the school—just whatever you may find around your home. We ask that you DO NOT send stuffed animals for hygiene reasons.
We will be collecting these items from the end of November until we “open Harrow’s Store” on December 15th, and students can purchase these items for their loved ones for small change (.25 cents to a loonie depending on the item).
Monies raised from the “Harrow Store” will be used to help cover the costs for school field trips and events.
We want to stress that holidays are not about gift-giving, but thinking of others and showing your love in a variety of ways. Some students will be creating craft gifts to give our store as well. We hope you can help collect items for this event.
Many thanks for helping us care and share!
