Student Newspaper Conference

The Kelvin Paperclip staff hosted a successful Student Newspaper Conference in the Kelvin Library on June 8. Organized by Editor Grace M., 12 attendees (representing Vincent Massey, Oak Park, St Mary's, Sisler, College Pierre-Elliot Trudeau, and Kelvin) discussed how their newspaper clubs operate and obstacles they face with publishing and distribution, content, etc. The students also explored the possibility of starting a collaborative website, where links to their respective newspaper websites/online issues could be posted, and maybe even planning a workshop for high schools thinking about starting their own newspaper!
The Kelvin Paperclip meets Fridays at lunch in Rm. 63. Contributors are always welcome!
