Conscience Family Group Activity

For Family Groups in the month of November, students learned about the Virtue of Conscience and the 7 Teaching of Honesty/Truth.  Students met in their Family Groups in the gym and heard the story, “The Enormous Lie,” about a boy who ate cookies that did not belong to him and lied about it. 

Then in their groups, the worked through different scenarios  where they had to use their conscience to make a decision.  (What if you found money on the playground, what if you didn’t study for a test and you could see your friend’s answers, etc.)  They either did this by “acting” it out in a dramatic fashion or wrote/drew about their choices in their journal.
