STUDENT REGISTRATION

To register for the current school year please attend to the school's office in person. Children born in 2015 are eligible for Nursery and children born in 2014 are eligible for Kindergarten.
Advanced Registration for 2019/2020
Montrose School welcomes families from around the world at registration time. Provincial and Winnipeg School Division guidelines for Schools of Choice apply to all registrations from outside of the school's catchment area. Space may or may not be available to families depending upon the number of catchment students registered and the needs of the student population.
Registration for the 2019/2020 school year begins February 1st. Please complete all of the applicable documents below and deliver in person to the school office during school hours 8:15 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:15 PM. Some of the forms are "fillable" on-line however; all of the documents must be signed by a parent or guardian. Parents/guardians must also present proof of age for all children and proof of residency (i.e. utility bill) at the address indicated on the registration forms. The school will take photocopies of all documentation. There may be additional documents required to complete the registration process.
School administration or a support team member will meet with new families at the time of registration if available or by appointment at a later date. Please make every effort to attend information evenings that apply to your child:
Nursery / Kindergarten Open House: Tuesday, March 5 at 6:00 PM
Grade 1 Orientation: Monday, May 23 at 6:00 PM
The school will receive all completed registration forms however; this does not indicate acceptance or classroom placement in Montrose. All registrations will be reviewed in early May to determine the availability of space and programming needs. Families will be notified by the school secretary once the registration has been confirmed.
Hard copies of registration papers are available in the school office will be available at the Nursery/Kindergarten Open House.
Nursery Program
Children living in the Winnipeg School Division and born in 2015 are eligible to register Nursery.
