Cooking Group

The cooking group consists of students from Grades 3-6. This group does the grocery shopping, food prep and cooking or baking for school-wide snack on Thursdays. Students are continuing to develop their skills working in the kitchen, such as cutting, chopping, measuring ingredients and making sure things are clean and sanitary. Also, the students are building knowledge of health, nutrition and working as a team. Some of the most popular snacks so far this year have been berry/banana smoothies and bannock with homemade strawberry jam.
