R.B Russell's Code Red Pandemic PlanJune 7, 2021
It was announced by the Province of Manitoba on June 3, 2021, that all schools within the City of Winnipeg will continuing to run under Code Red restrictions on the Province's Pandemic Response Plan. This means that all schools within the Winnipeg School Division, including R.B. Russell Vocational High School, will remain closed to in-person learning with some exceptions. The Province of Manitoba announced that remote will continue for the remainder of the school year. We will post any updates as soon as they are available on this website. Please see the attached letter from the Winnipeg School Division and R.B. Russell regarding the exceptions that will be made for some students.
Students will continue to connect to their classes and classroom teachers via Google Classroom. We will be following the method that we had during the remote learning session in January of this year. If your child requires technology to be successful, please have them connect with their classroom teachers so we can provide them with the tools that they need to ensure their continued success while learning from home.
Please see the attached link that has all the necessary resources that may be needed as students begin to complete course work remotely.
We thank each and every one of you in advance and as we continue to navigate this remote learning session.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school's office at (204) 589-5301
