are in the early part of November looking back at the start to a terrific
school year, and looking forward to the next few months with anticipation.
school year got off to a smooth start, with students and staff quickly
establishing routines and getting down to the business of school. Our
extra-curricular activities got started within the first couple of weeks as
well and saw great results in
cross-country especially our senior boys who finished as runners up in the
their category securing a banner for the school. Well done. The building is a
buzz with activity morning, noon and night with teams trying to get the
necessary practice time in for their seasons.

any other school in the division. A big thank you not only to staff who coach
teams, but to parents and staff as well who help with getting kids to and from
weather gets colder we strongly encourage our students to dress appropriately
for the weather. Winnipeg weather can be unpredictable at the best of times.
first reporting period will see report cards issued on December 6th.
We strongly encourage parents to take the time to go over the report cards with
your children and if you have questions, don’t hesitate to call us at the
school. Student led conferences will take place on December 12th from 1:00 to 4:00 and from 5:00 to 7:30
holiday season quickly moving up the calendar, don’t forget the events that
come with it. Our winter concert is scheduled for December 17th at
Sisler High school in the evening. Our Performance Arts department are working
hard to put together a terrific show. The last day of classes are scheduled for
behalf of Ms. Siddall and myself, we wish you a happy holiday season and a
terrific new year.
I would like to welcome
everyone back for a new school year. To our new grade 7 students, embrace the
opportunity to experience middle school and the variety of activities that are
offered at Andrew Mynarski VC . Returning grade 8 and 9 students, act as
ambassadors to those new to our school, including students, Staff and
Students who succeed in school can be identified by their
ability to organize their school life. This well constructed agenda book is a
tool that will help you all do well.
I was told as a young
student, if there was something I didn’t understand, ask questions. Learning will take place when the student
understands the concepts and teachers will be more effective when they know when
students need extra help to understand.
I am proud to have been
selected as your new Principal. I embrace the opportunity to lead a great staff
and students through the coming year to reach our school goals.
