Courses offered at Argyle Alternative High School:  

Science 20F

 
The focus of the Grade 10 Science is to develop scientifically literal students by building upon foundations of scientific literacy. The course is designed to help students prepare for science courses at the 30S Level.  Students must work and think independently and must also have an aptitude for abstract reasoning.
 
Topics covered in this course include:  Dynamics of Ecosystems, Chemistry in Action, In Motion and Weather Dynamics.

CURRENT TOPICS IN SCIENCE  30S – INTERDISDIPLINARY TOPICS IN SCIENCE 40S
 
Both courses are designed to provide engaging academic alternatives for those students who may be entering post secondary education and may not need a higher level science.  These two course encourage students to explore topics that they find interesting.  Students are encouraged to use technology to demonstrate their learning.
