Principal's Message

“Children will find in the eyes of the parents and teachers who raise them, mirrors in which they discover themselves.”

                                                      - William Glasser

Can there be a more important job than educating the next generation?  Not in my mind.  That’s why the staff at Brock Corydon take such pride in the quality of education and life lessons that are learned at our school.

Brock Corydon offers a diverse and inclusive environment where children are academically challenged, experience cultural diversity, and are guided in developing the attitudes and qualities necessary for global citizenship.

Brock Corydon is a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), National Associated Network Project School.
The UNESCO International Commission on Education for the Twenty-First Century advocates strengthening the four main pillars of learning:

  • Learning to know
  • Learning to do
  • Learning to be
  • Learning to live together

As a result our children are involved with themes focusing on:
  • World concerns
  • Human rights, democracy, and tolerance
  • Intercultural learning
  • Environmental concerns

These philosophies and principles are woven throughout our curricula and through a multitude of extra curricular activities.

Parents and community are actively involved in the school enriching the opportunities extended to our children.

Upon graduation, Brock Corydon students, are a highly capable, motivated and socially conscious group.  Our children have a strong identity of self, their’s and others cultures and have a knowledge about their role as citizens.

It is with great pride that I invite you to browse through our school pages to learn a little bit more about us.

Kindest regards,

Ara Morris,
