Students visit the human Rights Museum
Collège Churchill students have organized a bake and T-shirt sale for this Friday, November 14th. Proceeds will go towards helping the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders' efforts in Sierra Leone.

September 20th is the opening for the museum of Human Rights. To celebrate this occasion, Mme Houle’s promotion class has taken away one small human right from the student body each day this week so we can realize how lucky we are to live in Canada.
Monday – Right to clean water:
Water fountains were closed in the French hallway.
Tuesday – Right to clean facilities:
The washrooms were closed in the French hallway.
Wednesday – Right to education and supplies:
Students had to use pens, and could not correct their mistakes with whiteout.
Thursday – Right to electricity:
Some lights in the hallway and all the lights in the classrooms were turned off.
Also Thursday morning, Peter Karari (Community Resources Program Manager at IRCOM) spoke with grade 9-12 students about the rights of children around the world.
