Anime Club

Do you like to watch anime? Dress up in cosplay? Play videogames? Anime Club is just for you! Our first meeting starts on Monday, October 16th at 3:30 pm in Room 61. Don't be shy, everyone is welcome!!

Rec & Read Program

Do you like being a leader? Do you like playing games? The Rec & Read Program is back and we are looking for students who want to make a difference in the community. Please come to Room 58 on Monday, October 30th at 3:30 pm or talk to Mr. Barra.

Badminton Practice

The next badminton practice is this Saturday morning from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Please see Mr. Watt if you have any questions.

Fun French Film Friday

Bonjour !! Fun French Film Friday starts Friday, October 13th in Room 52. All are welcome! Bring your friends and lunch during Period 4 for a fun french film experience.

Debate Club

DMCI Drum Circle

DMCI Drum Circle is meeting in Room 17 on Tuesdays during Period 4. Everyone welcome.

Show & Save Sellers

Attention Show & Save Sellers: A reminder that Show and Save is due Thursday, October 19th. If you have not sold any or are done, please hand in your samples to Mrs. Ilagan or Ms. Dennis.

Special Language Credits

Do you want to earn 4 extra credits? Do you speak and write a different language? Then, come to the Guidance Office and pick-up an application form from Ms. Vidal.

U of M, U of W and RRC Presentations

Attention all Grade 12 students: Are you thinking about going to university or college? Wondering what the schools in Winnipeg have to offer? Then the university presentations are for you! University of Winnipeg will be here October 16th, Red River College on October 17th, and University of Manitoba on October 19th. All presentations will take place in the library during Period 4. If you would like to attend, please sign up with Miss Neufeld in the Guidance Office.

Custom DMCI Wear

Attention Grads and DMCI Students:

Custom DMCI Wear is now available for order. Don't miss out on your chance to order a Grad Hoody or DMCI gear for Grades 9 to 11. See Mrs. Ilagan in Room 40 for an order form. All orders with payment are due Monday, October 16th!

Mindful Mondays

Do you want to start the week relaxed and in a good mood and in a very positive way? Join Mindful Mondays! Our meeting will be in Room 15, every Monday - Period 4. See you there!

Unicycle Club

Are you looking for a way to get your week rolling? Are you feeling a little flat? There is one wheely great way to get your day rolling!

UNICYCLE CLUB starts every day 1 and day 3 during Period 4 in the Woods Lab (Room 102). No experience necessary! Come on down and try something that most cannot do. Remember, riding a bike is twice as hard!

Cross-country Running Club

Cross-country running practices and races begin this week! If you are interested in participating, please see Miss Nicholson in Room 11. No experience necessary.

Learn the Filipino Language

Do you want to learn Filipino Language for free? That's right classes are FREE. Starting October 17th, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is open for all ages from 15 to 21. If interested, please see Mrs. Malolos in Room 36 as soon as possible.

Art Club

Art Club meets every Wednesday from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Everyone is welcome. See you there. Come and create some Kindness Rocks with us!

Need a Career Advisor?

Have you ever had the following questions go through your head: How do I write a resume? What courses do I need to apply for university or college? How do I apply for scholarships? What do I want to do with my life after high school? For help with these questions and more, head down to the Guidance Office and see Miss Neufeld, DMCI's Career Advisor. Feel free to make an appointment or drop by between 9am - 3:30pm. All grade levels are welcome!

Attention all students.

Please be reminded that the Winnipeg School Division has a strict No Scent Policy. Anyone using aerosols or strong scented creams or lotions at school, will have these items confiscated and will face consequences for violating the policy. These perfumed items pose health hazard as they can trigger asthma attacks, headaches, migraines and allergic reactions. Let's consider everyone's health by not using these products at school.​​
