EXAM GUIDELINES

 

 

 

 

 

 

IMPORTANT:  Please ensure that you are familiar with the following procedures:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SUBJECT TEACHERS

 

 

 

 

 

Inform students of the "Exam Regulations,” exam location and time.

 

 

 

Lost/Damaged Textbooks: Provide a replacement value to students who have lost or damaged textbooks. Students are to make payment in the office and Ms. Algabre will issue them a receipt.

 

 

 

GENERAL GUIDELINES

 

 

 

Students will be permitted to enter the examination room at 8:50 a.m. and 12:50 p.m.

 

 

 

A supervisor must accompany students to washrooms.

 

 

 

Student belongings must be stored at the front or side of the room.

 

 

 

Please notify an administrator if you suspect a student of an irregularity.

 

 

 

 

 

DEPARTMENT HEADS

 

 

 

 

 

Ensure there are sufficient exam quantities prior to the exam date. Ensure that there is a process for taking exam attendance.

 

 

 

 

 

SUPERVISING TEACHERS

 

 

 

 

 

Please be in the exam room 15 MINUTES before the starting time.  Arrange seating to accommodate alternating subject papers.

 

 

 

 

 

EXAM INSTRUCTIONS – Please read at the beginning of each exam session.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

No student is permitted to leave the room until 10:00 am (2:00 pm) for a 2 hour exam or 10:30 a.m. (2:30 pm) for a 3 hour exam.

 

 

 

 

 

Students are not permitted to loiter in the halls or at lockers but must leave the building or go to the LIBRARY; the Library is used for quiet study.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

No communication with any other student is permitted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you have any papers or notes with you, hand them in now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Electronic devices such as IPods or cellular phones are not permitted and MUST NOT BE VISIBLE or HEARD during the duration of the exam.  Cellular phones MUST BE turned off.
