Parent Centre

A place where families can learn, play and grow together

Parent Centre Staff: Jacquie Sinclair
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am -12 pm
Location: room 124

Welcome to the Greenway School Parent Centre.

The Parent Center is open to all parents, grandparents and caregivers within the school community.
Feel free to stop by for a cup of coffee, tea, a snack and a chat.

We have a clothing closet if you are in need of any clothing items (both for yourself and/or your child.) You can also drop off any extra clothing/household items that you no longer have use for, provided they are in clean, working condition.

On Wednesdays, starting at 9:30 am there is a beading class/club. No experience necessary, supplies are provided. This time may also be used for other crafts such as dream catchers, sewing, knitting, etc.

If you are interested in becoming a parent volunteer for the school I can help you through the application process.

There is also ample opportunity for you to stay and play with your younger children who are not yet school age. We have a supply of toys, books and lots of crafts to keep your little one busy.

Many times throughout the year the Parent Center also has other activities planned, such as community breakfasts, potlucks, different crafts, and yoga kids (yoga kids takes place outside of school hours in the evenings.)  These events are announced on the bulletin board outside of the Parent Centre.
