Grosvenor School also
has a Reading Recovery ™ program. Reading Recovery ™ is a short-term,
early intervention program for students in Grade One. Its goal is to
enable students requiring additional support to make accelerated
progress and to become competent, independent readers and writers in
approximately 12-20 weeks. The progress is achieved by daily, individual
lessons designed to supplement the classroom program and delivered by a
trained Reading recovery ™ teacher. The program was developed by Dr.
