School is home to a divisional Elementary Autism Program (Grades- K-6).
Eligibility for this program is determined by the Special Education Department
using the guidelines outlined on the Winnipeg School Division website.

The Autism Program at Inkster School provides meaningful
educational opportunities with a focus on inclusion. The students are provided
with specialized programming such as Adaptive Aquatics, Dog Therapy, Music
Therapy, Fine and Gross Motor programming and Community and social skill
experiences. They also have individualized programming and access to
specialized materials with support from an Educational Assistant, Special
Education Resource Teacher, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language
Pathologist, Physiotherapist, Psychologist and Social Worker as needed.
