May, 2016

Students in this Social Studies class are currently wrapping up a unit that has focused on Society and Culture and are in the midst of completing projects on a culture of their choosing.

Stay tuned for news on our upcoming "Cultural Feast" which will see students bring in foods from different cultures to share with everyone in the class. It is always one of the most anticipated days on the school year and we are very much looking forward to it.

Exams in this subject will be on Monday, June 20 in the morning.

Students in this Social Studies class are beginning work on a brand new unit about Democracy. This unit will serve as an introductory course to topics like elections, campaigns, government, authoritarianism and much much more!

Also, students recently completed a test on Human Rights, if families are interested in learning how their children did on the test, do not hesitate to ask them about it or email me at: jliewicki@wsd1.org
