Next week is Computer Science week! From Dec. 9 to Dec. 15, people from all over the world will be participating in activities to promote the study of Computer Science.
One of those activities, called the "Hour of Code" will be happening at Kelvin High School.
What's an "Hour of Code"?
It's a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code" and show that anyone can learn the basics to a maker, a creator, an innovator.
Technology now touches every aspect of our lives from school, work, to leisure. It impacts the way we live, share, and communicate with each other. Being able to understand this language will continue to be a valuable asset in the future.
Code.org will provide a variety of self-guided tutorials that anyone can do. Just come to see Mr. Nguyen in room 21 if you are interested in participating.
