Students in Histoire canadienne (grade 11) recently solidified their knowledge of events and personalities associated with Canada's history as a colony of France and of Great Britain by creating and playing a variety of games, from Kerplunk to Uno, from chess to Who Wants to be a (Colonial) Millionaire? Students had to include questions covering a variety of topics (treaties with First Nations, battles, population control, héroïnes and scandals, etc.) and promote their product with a 'Teaser' presentation. Students reviewed their colleagues' efforts and took note of new facts learned while playing. A good (and historically informative) time was had by all!
