Indoor Soccer Highlights
The Girls and Boys Kelvin Clippers Indoor Soccer Teams are winding down for the mid-season break, after a very eventful first half of the season. They started off with a fantastic bonding experience at Soccer Camp in September where they trained, shared meals, played trivia, frizgolf and made s'mores for each other. They got to know each other very well, and developed a team bond that has helped them trust each other, communicate with one another and have fun together.
Both teams have had some drawbacks in their seasons, but have had successes in against strong teams including Glenlawn, SJR and FRC. Both teams have early morning and weekend practices, and play in up to 2 games a week. They are each running middle of the pack in a 16 team league, and hope to finish strong before the winter break.
Currently both teams are participating in a food drive to help with one of the many Hampers Kelvin High School puts together for a family in need, as a part of being social activists, in addition to student athletes.
