French Club meets every Day 4 in room 49 from 12:30 to 1:00.  All students, in all grades are welcome to the club. French Club gives students the opportunity to stay immersed with the French language and culture in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

 

KDHS meets Mondays at lunch in the foods room.  We will be collecting money and non-perishables to be donated to local homeless shelters.  Please come down.  Everyone is welcome!

 

Interested in gender equality?  Want to know what it means to be a feminist?  Just have questions? Gender Studies Club meets Mondays at lunch in room 56!  All are welcome, hope to see you there.

 

Japanese beginner class happens Tuesdays at 3:45 in room 35.

 

The Aboriginal Student Group meets Wednesdays at lunch in room 25.  All First Nations, Inuit and Metis students are invited to attend.

 

Have you completed the 10G Japanese language credit option and want to learn more? Join us Wednesdays from 3:45-5:15 in room 35. No charge! A credit MAY be possible. 

 

Spectrum meets Thursdays at lunch in room 46! Come down to discuss planning for Spirit Day!  All are welcome.

 

Chess Club meets Thursdays at lunch in room 21.  All are welcome.

 

Students interested in debating please meet in room 21 at 3:30 on Fridays.  Please wait for the debate coach.

 

All students interested in volunteering at the elementary school program for Festival du Voyageur in February should have their 4-page application form printed out, signed and submitted to Mme Chase by this Friday.  Any questions, please see Mme Chase in room 45.

 

Are you indigenous? Are you in grade 12? Will you be graduating this year? If you answered yes to all three then please meet today in room 27 at 12:30 for 10-15 minutes.   If you have any questions, please see Mr. Crowchild in the office.

 

Are you looking to discuss political and social ideas with fellow interested students? Do you wan to find people with whom to discuss these ideas? Good news: a new club is starting at Kelvin in January. The Open Politics Group will meet every Monday at lunch in room 63. We are not biased towards any particular opinion or belief, so come one, come all.

 

There will be a Literary Arts Book meeting today at lunch in the digital room.
