November 30, 2015, our school had the pleasure of hosting a Canadian
citizenship court ceremony in our school gymnasium. On this day, we
welcomed forty new Canadian citizens. This ceremony was made extra
special as one of our very own
Lansdowne families, the Lubis family, became Canadian citizens! Congratulations to them and to all the new Canadians!
were joined by Judge James McCrae, Presiding Officer,Constable Ray
Steen, RCMP Constable, Maryann Mihychuk, Member of Parliament, Mike
Pagtakhan, City Counsellor, and Fatima Mota, WSD Superintendent.
Our grade 4, 5, & 6 choir performed beautifully. The first song was « Un Enfant de Paix » and the second was « Au Canada ».
