The students in Room 22 had a lot of fun at the beginning of January
practicing how to make ten using marshmallows! First the students had to use the
10 marshmallows to think of how many different ways there was to make ten. Next
the students recorded their answers in their math journals. Finally the students
picked one of the make ten combinations (ie. 4 and 6) and they glued them on the
hot chocolate mugs on their art activity. The students finished it all off by
showing the math equation to go with their marshmallows and writing a number
