Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)
Pinkham School celebrated Mother Earth by participating in Earth Day activities such as litterless lunches, lights out afternoon, and walking or biking to school. Everyone went out to do a community clean up of our school grounds and surrounding areas. Classroom teachers engaged students in conversations about the many ways we can help take care of our earth and read books about the importance of taking care of our environment.
Ms. Kabani, who supports our Pinkham Green Team, is presented with an honorary green wig to kick off our Earth Day Community Clean Up!

Pinkham Green Team
The Pinkham Green Team is a voluntary group of students that promotes the participation, learning about and improving the enviroment. Students can be empowered to participate and take up meaningful enviromental activities and projects. These students can then reach out to influence and engage their peers, parents, and communities to promote environmental behaviour. Keep up the good work!
