Room 7 Grade 4/5
This past month students celebrated Earth Week and
learned more about how the Earth provides us with the resources
we need. Students had the opportunity to meet a
Holstein dairy producer from a farm near Rosser. The class
was able to learn about what the cattle eat, and in turn experience
some of the delicious products that their milk brings to
the grocery store. Each student created butter by shaking
cream in a container and then later got to enjoy it on crackers
as a snack. This month we continue our learning to include
diversity of living things in science. As well, on the 29th
of May we will be joining Room 9 on a field trip to Camp
Manitou where they will get to experience the great outdoors.
