Your Healthy School Committee is pleased to be part of the International Day of Pink at Queenston School on April 12, 2017!

This is a day when people and communities around the world come together to celebrate diversity, and raise awareness to stop all forms of bullying.

A very large number of students have ordered pink Queenston t-shirts to wear in support of the International Day of Pink.  If you did not order a t-shirt, we encourage everyone to wear pink or their favourite bright color on April 12th.

Thank you from your Queenston Healthy School Committee!

HEALTHY EATING:  lunch.jpg

School Lunch ideas:

School is where children go to learn, play and develop skills that will last them a lifetime. Well-nourished children are better able to pay attention and learn in school. Help your children to be their best at school by fueling their days with healthy food choices.
Children may be more likely to eat a lunch that they have been involved in creating. Let your children choose some of the foods that will go into their lunch bags. Plan or prepare school lunches together - make it fun! (Dietitians of Canada)
