We will be starting a new tradition at Ralph Brown School. We will be starting a Ukrainian phrase or word of the week. This week's phrase will be привіт or transliterated into the English alphabet as pryvit. Привіт/pryvit means "Hello". If your child is caught using the word correctly by a teacher they may qualify for a Rocket slip! If you need help saying the word please feel free to ask an English-Ukrainian Bilingual Program (EUBP) teacher or student at Ralph Brown. We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming events.
Have a great week!

The English Ukrainian Bilingual Program (Grades K – 8) allows students of Ukrainian descent, as well as non-Ukrainian students, the opportunity to learn a second language. The program not only teaches the Ukrainian language but exposes the students to the Ukrainian culture and traditions through interactive activities including Ukrainian Christmas Eve dinner and Easter breakfast, Pysanky (egg decorating), and Hahilky (dance), songs and field trips.
Our school also offers Grade N-6 English/1-8 Ukrainian bilingual program.
