Robertson School students kept the cold winter winds away by drumming up a storm!
Students spent two weeks with the Winnipeg School Division set of African Drums. They learned many different rhythmic patterns which led to the creation of their own rhythm songs.
Students liked to discover the different sounds that could be made on the Djembes and how they felt when playing the drums.
All students from grade 1-6 experienced the excitement and energy of the drums.
