Tec-Voc's School Committee believes parental involvement is an important part of education.
Below are some tips on how to stay involved:
1. Communication -
2. School Committee –
Your child is the first point of communication between school and home. Ask your child about both past and future school events and classroom topics and activities.
The School Committee meets five times a year. Our upcoming meeting is on:
Wednesday May 24th at 5:00 pm
3. Monthly Calendar and Newsletters –
A monthly calendar of events is available in our office. The school also sends out newsletters via Synervoice (email). Both the monthly calendar and newsletters are also available for download on our website here: Newsletters & News
4. Teacher Emails -
You can find email addresses for teachers on our website here: Staff Listing and Contacts
5. Social Media -
Follow @tecvocwpg on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
6. Advisors and Counselor -
The advisor system at Tec-Voc pairs students with a teacher for grades 10 through 12. The advisor's role is to help students with various administrative processes such as registration and attendance, as well as promoting school events.
Each student also has a counselor whom is available to help with course selection, career counselling, and offer advise and counselling on social and emotional issues.
