Football Game in Honour of the Mama Bear Clan Patrol

On Saturday September 23rd the St. John's Tigers  headed to Tec Voc to play the Hornets. The Tigers and Hornets played in honour of the Mama Bear Clan Patrol.  Mama Bear Clan Patrol is a community activist/watch group that spreads love around the Main Street/North Point Douglas Area.  It is a group led by women and backed up by men (https://www.facebook.com/Mama-Bear-Clan-1699671170294271/).  Through Tec Voc Team Elder Mitch Bourbonniere, our student athletes at Tec have been able to volunteer and become a part of Mama Bear Clan.  We used this game as a platform to show our appreciation to Mama Bear Clan, promote what they are trying to do throughout our school, community, and city, as well as inspire our student athletes (on both teams) to be the sort of positive agents of change they can be in our neighbourhood.
