École Sir William Osler Library and Maker Space
Our collection of books and other learning materials has been growing this school year! We have a good collection of both French and English books to share with our Nursery to Grade 2 students! We plan to continue to expand our library resources, as our student population grows.
Our library is a happy place with child-sized furniture where children are invited to curl up and read a good book! Each class has a regular library time to exchange library books and listen to stories. Our students also use the library at various times throughout the school day to read and work in small groups.

We have also been able to purchase a number of materials to use in our new Maker Space! Teachers are able to reserve a time for their students to come to the Makerspace, or borrow materials for classroom use. These building materials encourage students to communicate and work together collaboratively, to explore and create, to problem-solve and think critically. We call this the four C's: communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
We are always looking for volunteers to help out in our library. Please call the school and speak with our new librarian, Mme Laurence, if you are able to help out!
