École Sir William Osler officially re-opened in September 2016 as a French Immersion milieu school. This means, that our entire school follows the Manitoba French Immersion program. Currently we welcome students in Nursery, Kindergarten, Grade one and Grade two. In September 2017, we will be adding a Grade three classroom, as well.
We follow the Manitoba provincial curriculum as designed by the Bureau d'éducation française (Manitoba Education). For students in Nursery and Kindergarten, all instruction is in French. For students in Grades one and two, instruction is in French, with the exception of approximately one hour on English Language Arts instruction daily. Our school is a warm, safe and inviting environment where we believe in helping children to be successful and to see themselves as lifelong, engaged learners who care about their community. We want to be enthusiastic about learning and about learning in French!
Please come and see what we are all about!
