It's time for Grad 2023 Dinner and Dance Ticket Pick up! Please see information below. We encourage everyone to pick up their tickets beteween 9-1pm. If you are not able to pick up the tickets personally, then a family member may pick up the tickets on your behalf. Please have payment receipts and a written list of names of your guests. We are all looking forward to a safe and festive evening. Thank you to all staff, student and parent volunteers for making this event possible!

Hello Grad 2023 Students and Families,
Just a friendly reminder that Grad Dinner and Dance Tickets begin this week. We have switched to sale location to the Canteen Area beside the Senior Gym, instead of the usual front entrance location.
Sales times will be 12 Noon and 3:45-5:00pm on the dates listed below.
Open to the following people at noon and after school. Cash and cheques accepted.
May 31st - Wednesday: Last names A-E
June 1st - Thursday: Last names: F - N
June 2nd - Friday: Last names M-Z *Noon only. Or next week, Tuesday - Thursday.

*Also, a question was asked on May 16th regarding the stage photo at the Calvary Temple. This is included with your Convocation price and will be mailed to our address at no extra charge.

Hello Grads, Parents and Guardians,
Great news! We have calculated all the numbers and we are proud to announce that this year's Grad Dinner and Dance ticket prices are similar to last year. Prices vary depending on "Cash Raffle Sales" participation.
Further discounts apply if students participated in Peak of the Market, Sobey's Gift Cards and Perogy Sale Fundraisers. Adjusted price will be provided at time of sale.
$100 - Grad and $100 Grad Guest (2 raffle book sold)
$130 - Grad and $130 Grad Guest (no raffle book participation)
$80 parents/guardians/family members (because of no dance)
$40 - Children, 12 yrs. younger
Ticket sales will be held on the following dates from 3:45-5:00pm. Cash or Cheques accepted. You may purchase on the following dates based on your last name.
May 31st. A-E
June 1st. F-N
June 2nd. M-Z *Noon only. Or next week, Tuesday - Thursday.
On June 6,7,8. Ticket sales will be open to everyone. *Cash only.
*Reminder that a "Transportation contract" will need to be signed before you are permitted to purchase a ticket. Transportation forms will also be available at time of purchase.
*June 9, 2023, Ticket Sales Closed. Final attendance numbers are submitted to the Fairmont Hotel.
*Thursday, June 22, 2023, Tickets will be available for pick up at the school. 12:00 -5:00 pm.

Parent/Guardian Graduation Information and Contract Signing Night
Tuesday, May 16, 2023
Senior Gym
6:00-8:00pm.
*Please read carefully the attached "Transportation Regulations and Sisler Safe Grad Rules" so you understand the expectations before you sign the contract. Note that the contract will need to be signed before you are able to purchase a Safe Grad Dinner and Dance Ticket(s). It is crucial that at least one parent/guardian is in attendance with their child to sign the contract immediately after the meeting. Bring all necessary identification (Manitoba Health Card) and present it to a school official at the time of signing. If your child is bringing a guest, they may also attend the meeting with their guardian as a separate guest contract will also need to be signed. The guest will also need to bring ID. If you are unable to attend this meeting, you will need to sign the contract at the school at a later specified time.
This meeting is in person and will not be broadcasted on YouTube. As such, minutes of the meeting will be made available.

Hello Parents and Graduating Students,
The final cash lottery fundraiser is coming to a close. All ticket books are due back with accompanying cash no later than May 9th. A table for ticket returns will be set up outside the office on the following days and times:
Monday, May 8th 11:45 am-12:45 pm and 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Tuesday, May 9th 11:45 am - 12:45 pm and 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
After the close of this fundraiser the dinner and dance ticket prices will be determined . This information will be shared at the mandatory parent/student transport meeting on Tuesday, May 16th.

Dear Potential Graduates, Parents and Guardians,
The cash lottery is the last opportunity to participate in a fundraising event that will significantly decrease the Grad Dinner and Dance ticket price. If a graduate is planning to attend the Dinner and Dance, it would be in their best interest to sell the required minimum 2 cash lottery books to receive the discounted ticket price. Last year the discounted ticket price was $30! Once we conclude our fundraiser, we will share this year's discount rate with everyone. To be clear, once we sell the Dinner and Dance tickets in June, only the students who participate in the Cash Raffle Draw (2 booklets sold) will receive the discounted rate.
There are still ticket books available for pickup next week. There are 10 tickets in every book and each ticket is $2.00 each, ($20 /book). Any students selling extra books will receive 10% of their sales towards their ticket. All ticket books and monies are due back no later than Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Cash Raffle Book return information including date, time and location will be provided before May 9th.
Spring Cash Raffle Tickets available for pick up. Help support our Sisler graduates of 2023. Pick up at noon this week and Monday, April 17th & Tuesday, April 18th @ 3:00 - 5:30 pm. in the front lobby.

Hello Parents/Guardians of Graduating Students,
This is a reminder that Convocation Fees are due by next Wednesday Apr 12th. These fees must be paid in order to participate in the convocation ceremony where students receive their diplomas. The fees are $85 and cover the following:
- Grad Gown Rental
- Cap & Tassel to keep
- Professional Photo taken as the student receives their diploma (mailed directly to your home)
- Grad Souvenir
- Lanyard
- Yearbook
All students must fill out the Convocation Fees online form first (https://permission.click/1eKXe/ca). At the end of the form, 1 "Convocation Fee 2023" must be added to the cart. At this point a payment method can be chosen. Payments can be made with a credit card, digital wallet (ApplePay, Google Pay, etc) or by cash or cheque. If paying by cash or cheque the money must be brought to Ms. Clifford in rm 91 to complete payment. Cheques need be made out to 'Sisler High School'.

We are quickly approaching our celebration and we are on track with planning and fundraising. We would like to invite you to the next Parent Grad Meeting for updates. We will have it next week on:
Tuesday, April 11th at 6:30 pm in the school theatre. Livestream will also be available and Youtube link will be sent in advance.
The next and final cash lottery tickets will also be available for pick up at that time. Our cash lottery is our most effective way to lower dinner and dance tickets for everyone, so we thank you for your support.

Sisler is once again participating in the Gowns for Grads (https://gownsforgrads.com/), and Suit Up Winnipeg (https://www.facebook.com/suitupwinnipeg/) programs which provide free grad dresses or suits for students who otherwise would not be able to afford one. Please see Ms. Mackintosh or Mr. Andruchuk in the Guidance Office to sign-up or for more info! Sign-up for Gowns for Grad is due Friday, March 24th.

A reminder that the Safe Grad Perogy Fundraiser forms and money are due back no later than March 22nd. Forms and money can be returned during the following times and dates near the front office:

The event is from 9am-12pm. Students arriving at 8am.
Sisler Grad 2023 Committee is pleased to announce the return of the Perogy Fundraiser! In past Perogy Fundraiser's, potential graduates were able to raise enough funds to pay for their Dinner and Dance ticket due to the 55% profit generated from sales. Every dollar will go directly to individual students who participate.
Perogy Fundraiser Grad 2023
Each bag contains 2.2 kg of frozen potato and white cheddar perogies (approximately 3 dozen perogies)
Cost per bag: $10.00
Order forms are available Feb. 27, 2023 to March 22, 2023 (no orders will be accepted beyond March 22nd).
Full payment must accompany order forms. Dates for order submission will be posted on the Sisler Website.
Delivery Date: Perogies must be picked up at the school on Thursday, April 6 between 3:00 and 5:30 pm (these perogies are frozen so they cannot be held for pick up after this time).
