Web Support

The Winnipeg School Division recognizes that telecommunications and other new technologies change the way in which students can access information and educational resources. The Winnipeg School Division also acknowledges that access to on-line information resources, including the Internet, is a fundamental right of all participating citizens in a free and democratic society.

Students are responsible for good behaviour on school computer networks just as they are in a classroom or a school hallway. As communications on the school network are often public in nature, general school rules for behaviour and communications apply. These expecations are outlined below in our General Use Guidelines and in the Winnipeg School Division's Acceptable Use brochure

Resources to help students understand some of the dangers of the Internet as well as tips to help ensure your safety online are available by clicking here.
