Video Production Program

Argyle High School’s Video Production Program is an exciting option open to grades 10, 11 and 12. Students learn about the film process through pre-production (writing and scheduling), production (shooting) and post-production (editing) phases. Students gain an understanding of storytelling through short film projects in the drama, comedy and documentary genres. Students gain knowledge of story creation (writing techniques), technical aspects of film production (lighting and sound), and creative skills (directing, cinematography, performance and editing). Students have fun while learning how to tell stories on “film”.
