2026/27 Draft Budget: Share Your Input

The Board of Trustees is working on the 2026/27 draft budget, with the goal to maintain current staffing and programs, even though provincial funding has not yet been confirmed.
Over the past two years, WSD has listened to families and made investments to support classrooms and communities. These include hiring more staff, reducing class sizes, removing fees for lunch programs and field trips, improving technology, and expanding childcare support for families. WSD wants to hear from you again as our planning continues.
Families are invited to share their priorities through the Budget 2026/27: Share Your Input form by February 20.
Families are also invited to attend the upcoming public budget consultation on Tuesday, February 24 at 5:00 p.m. at WSD Administration Building No. 1, 1577 Wall Street East. The consultation will also be live streamed.
