In Kindergarten, students are fully immersed in Anishinaabemowin or Ininimowin. Grade 1 and beyond is bilingual with 50% of instruction in Cree or Ojibwe and 50% in English.

These language programs centre around ancestral teachings of Grandmother Moon and the thirteen moons she carries. The programs also have land-based teachings because connection to Mother Earth is an important part of language learning.
