Sheri Temple

My name is Sheri Temple and I have been teaching math since 2001; my experience spans from grades 7 through 12. Born in Dauphin, Manitoba, I moved to Winnipeg when I was 17 years old to attend university. I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Manitoba and have an After Degree in Education from Brandon University. Aside from teaching, I enjoy numerous activities like jogging, practicing yoga, mountain biking, camping and reading. All of these activities are even more fun when I get to do them with my husband, Mike, and our two daughters, Ashlyn and Maren. I look forward to a great year!

Nancy Morsy

I have been teaching Mathematics since 1998. I earned Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Mathematic, Chemistry and Physics major) and Bachelor of Education degree. Thinking back to my own high school years, I know that having excellent math and physics teachers, who were also engineers, instilled in me a lifelong love of mathematics.

My true passion lies in teaching mathematics and helping students develop confidence, take risks and develop curiosity in the subject. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching students across various grade levels and in a wide range of mathematics courses, each one bringing its own joys and challenges.

I am a proud supporter of the IB Programme, which I love for the depth of learning and global perspective it brings. All three of my children have graduated from the IB Programme, and I have seen firsthand the positive impact it can have on students’ growth and success.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy coaching soccer, travelling, drawing, and listening to music—activities that inspire creativity, balance, and joy in my life.
