Room 130

Welcome to Grade 1! My name is Amy Michalski and I am the Grade 1 teacher in Room 130! I am looking forward to getting to know all of our students and their families!

This year, Room 130 will build our skills in literacy and numeracy while also focusing on play-based, social emotional learning. We will learn about our community and the world around us, through exploration and discovery. 

In numeracy we will work on recognizing and describing numbers to 100, making and recognizing patterns, as well as working on our problem-solving strategies.

In literacy we will begin our journey to becoming readers and writers!
