My intention of this page is to bring you some supports and links to help you, parents/guardians, help your children.
Many of these site are open/free and geared to parents. Some will ask you to sign up for e-mails delivered to you and will send you updates of promos.

My Learning at Home website developed by the Government of Manitoba with articles, links and ideas for dealing with at home learning.

BREAKOUTEDU LIVE for all you student who loved the Breakout boxes, now you can solve them at home and WIN prizes!

Common Sense Education
Provides reviews of movies, books, apps, games, parent info and more. Customizable to children's ages. Sign up to receive regular emails on relevant topics and webinar announcements.

Cyber Civics
Is a digital literacy website, now has a lot of lessons, games and activities for parents and students to learn how to be better digital citizens. Sign up to receive regular emails.

TED ed
It's all about inspiring curiosity. Lessons (ready made or customizable), Ted talks and design your own ? for you and your children.

Scholastic Education free digital subscriptions until June 30
Reading (guided or on your own) for grades K-5 with follow up activities. Science with hands-on projects and activities. A child friendly search engine called Scholastic GO.

Teach Magazine is offering a coding based game called Dystopia2153. Students learn to code as they play the game. There are several levels of coding, good for beginners and up. Once you register they will automatically update your account for free.

Canadian Children's Book Centre offers publications, programs, events, resources and, coming soon, Bibliovideo through YouTube.

CrabTree Publishing is offering free access to their digital library of Non-Fiction books. Use the advanced search box for age and reading levels. Username: read, Pw: free

If your children are interested in SPORTS, download the Olympics Calendar and check out the activities from there.
