Stanley Knowles Library

July 9, 2025

The goal of the school library is to empower both students and staff to become skilled independent users of information through inquiry based learning and to encourage literacy through the love of reading.

Borrowing Information

Students may borrow up to two books at any one time. Students in French Immersion may also borrow an extra book in French.

Books are due on the next scheduled book exchange class or up to ten days later, but may be renewed. Fines are charged only for lost or damaged books.

Borrowing Schedule

Each class has an assigned book exchange time once per cycle.

Scholastic Book Sale

A Scholastic Book Sale is held twice a year in the library during parent evenings. It is facilitated by the teacher-librarian with books from Scholastic Canada.
