Unity Challenge

Tyndall Students with food items

The "Show a little love Unity Challenge" was an amazing challenge dedicated to help bring students together to donate for a worthy cause. The Unity Challenge's initiative involved getting different schools to encourage kids to donate non-perishable foods, hygiene products, and other supplies. The challenge lasted from Feb 14 - Feb 25 and all donations were given to North Point Douglas Women's Centre to help support their food hamper programs.

Tyndall Park School participated in this challenge and donations were to be brought and kept in the gym. If you want an idea of how much was being brought each day... lets just say the gym was overflowing with donations! At the end of the challenge all items were counted by Ms. Dow. Tyndall Park exceeded the plan of collecting 600 items and collected a whopping 1600+ of donation items! This could only be achieved with the help and teamwork of all staff and students and we are ever so grateful for it. We are all in this together!
