BLUE MUSIC
With buckets and glow sticks Tyndall Park students experimented with some percussion and created some 'Blues' in music class! The glow sticks created an eerie effect that tied in with the spooky Halloween season.
ROOM SIX-ZOO RESIDENCY
GRADE THREE GARDENERS
Grade three students took advantage of the beautiful weather and did some gardening! Stephanie Fulford, the Garden and Food Skills Programmer from NorWest Co-op Community Food Centre, dropped by to talk to students about gardening and brought some seeds for planting. Throughout the remainder of the school year, students from grades 1, 3, and 5 will tend to the garden boxes and community members will continue caring for them over the summer months. Students planted onions, peas and flowers and will also plant carrots, lettuce, beets and tomatoes once the nice weather returns.
