Winnipeg Humane Society

Rooms 4 & 2 have been having some doggone good fun! The Winnipeg Humane Society has been visiting the classrooms with some of their critter friends and giving the students a first hand (or paw) look at the animals and showing off some of their talents. 

One visitor has been a 3 year old dog named Biden, accompanied by Mr. L. Biden performed some tricks and then visited with each student. Other visitors have included Pumpkin, a rescue cat brought in by Samantha from the Winnipeg Humane Society’s Education Department. Students enjoy these visits and learning about the many animals at the Humane Society and their success stories.
