Orange Shirt Day falls on September 30th. WSD schools will be celebrating in recognition of the residential school system and its impact on the children who attended and their families. As affirmation of our commitment to ensure that everyone around us matters, please wear orange.
“Orange Shirt Day is also an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come.”
