Terry Fox Run 2025

Terry Fox embarked on his Marathon of Hope 45 years ago, aiming to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. His determination and spirit continue to inspire millions, and École Laura Secord School is happy to do our part to honour his legacy. This year’s theme is “Finish it” and all students have been running laps in gym class with the goal of collectively running the distance of the Transcanada Highway to “finish” the Marathon of Hope for Terry Fox. This year, we’re  holding our Terry Fox Run in the afternoon of Friday October 3rd, providing an opportunity for our community to come together and raise awareness for this important cause. The students and staff are proud to continue to do our part to help the fundraising efforts of the Terry Fox Foundation in the fight against cancer.
